I was told this bike was an r6 in that year range....I dont know much about when they changed etc...

Anyway i ran into a group of 4 rockets a few days back and revved it to see what they would do. One guy on the r6 pulled a little wheelie and after a car turned off i got next to him. We were going about 45-50ish i believe and we ran up to...100ish give or take. I went to the top of 3rd gear so it might have been more like 110. He was slightly behind my door and when he cracked it i did....he pulled about 1-1.5 car lengths ahead and then we evened out until the top of 3rd. He quit pulling when my rpms got in better range. I was very happy with the results.

We didnt stop and talk but that made my day.

 

from 45 mph roll he should have been in second or even 1st gear he should have ripped u a good one. I'm no saying u are lying but i bet thr r-6 started of in 3rd or 4th gear. good run though it's not ur problem he can't ride. good kill

 

My new dyno numbers are 510rwhp and 521rwtq.

Ya its cool. It was a kill tho...he stayed 1.5 cars ahead...but thats fine with me...I think they run 10.8-low 11's right?

 

i should have read wat u wrote but a motorcycle only 1.5 cars in front of u is a kill in my opinoin.

If you had room to take it up higher you would have pulled him imo, especially if he wasnt pulling anymore.

 

Yea we werent in a good place to race... Probably shouldnt have done it but it was fun. Where do r6's fall in the 600 class as far as quickness?

 

top of the list next the gixer if I remember correctly by some other people.
