Default First Kill In New Ws6

I was on my way home from the movies tonight about 11 when I get stopped by a red light and see this yellow daytona charger r/t pull up beside me. This kid (probably borrowed the car from mommy) I dont think anything about it because my house was like 1 mile away, but anyway he guns it from the red light and gets probably 2 cars ahead of me and I saw screw it I floor it and in about 5 seconds I had 2-3 cars on him. His face was priceless when i blew by him.....needless to say I was excited this being my 1st LS1 ..:woo:

Nice kill, but as you can see by some members, there are some freaks out there depending on the style. I think I have heard of some in the 12's.
First bit of advise, If you want to stay one of the fast cars on the street, your going to have to MOD up!!
Back in 2000, when I had the TA, I was pretty much faster than 80% of the cars out there running 12.9's with just a catback and nittos.
Nowadays though, cars are built faster. Mustangs are faster than they used to be "for the most part, with the cobras and mach 1's", they have GTO's now that'll give you a run if your stock, certain chargers ect.
Your gonna get beat, that's just a matter of time, but if you'd like to keep that time longer, get a healthy cam and headers, that really wakes these cars up. They are selling heads now at decent prices as well.
Back in 2000, 410 rwhp was GOOD for a heads/cam car. Now some are getting 500rwhp or close to it.
Sorry for rambling on.

Nahhh.I owned one good with my A4/2.73 98.He just looked over and floored it from 70-75ish.It took me a few seconds to pull him but I stepped out a solid 2 cars.
I think those cars are a joke IMO.Overpriced and overweight.
SRT8s are a different beast, but even a mildly modded ls1 can take one down.

Nice kill!

I actually like the car. The interiors are some of the nicest I've ever seen, and the fact that they go low 14s high and even high 13s stock isn't bad.

A dodge dealership here in town has one on the showroom floor that I took a close look at awhile back. It had a shaker hood and a few bolt-ons. It was pretty cool and I'd take it.

Good kill!
They aren't as bad as everyone says (with the exception of being made by Dodge). I've seen one run a 13.9 with only a cat-back.

Good Kill! I like those cars also. They're not the best car from a performance stand point, but they look mean as hell IMO

Get some rims on it, tint the windows, exhaust, and call it a day.

Except from a performance standpoint they are a family sedan, so its kind of impressive actually. Definitely get it on vid next time so he cant talk **** when he gets home and give the keys back to mommy.
