Default Ran a Mach 1... Kinda

That thing was such a slow POS it was hardly a run... Damn fords! Im surprised it didnt break down half way through the run!!! What was ford thinking, more importantly what are these people thinking when they buy a ford... Makes me sick the stupidity of these mustang owners... You know Mustangs are like Tampons, Every ***** has one!!!

Just kidding... Actually I really like the Mach 1's, I did actually kinda run one the day after my dyno tune. I put down 340/362 and the Mach was keeping up quite well. I would get in front of him and put a little bit of distance on him, but it was only maybe a 1-2mph pull on him if that all the way from maybe 60-120. I know he had exhaust at the least. Sweet looking car and it ran well. Ive always liked those Mach's... Hell before I bought my 01, I ALMOST bought a 01 Cobra that was a pretty sweet ride... Guy wanted too much money though.

Oh yeah, sorry for the psuedo flame up top... Ive seen nothing but bashing on these Mach's and I just dont get it... Figured I would try to fit into the "cool" crowd!

+1. Did you make those power numbers in your sig with just the mods in your sig?

Yes, with ONLY the mods in my sig, I put down 340/362. I have an awesome tuner at my future brother in laws shop. www.haddadmotorsports.com did the tune and yes, they were impressed too. I have a strong running LS1. Before the tune, it made 325/330.

I have since added a magnaflow single 3"in/single 3"out muffler. I will probably take it back to the dyno to see if I picked up a couple more or not. I will tell you this though, its on the ragged edge as far as timing and fuel. If I get less that great premium (91 octane) fuel, it will knock and ping.. Hence the 5 bottles of NX octane booster in my trunk.

That Mach 1 was quick though. Nice cars.. I would probably get one as a daily if I still had my old car that was closer to a Road Race car than a daily car.

Well my friend (JamRWS6) made 333rwhp with I *believe* only a lid and shorties... could be just the lid.

George Lara did indeed tune it. Most power made out of a lid/filter car at HMS yet... More than anyone else I know of also with the same supporting mods. Im curious if anyone has made more power with the same mods or not... Hrmm.. Time to start researching this.

Well, next on the list of mods is a ported tb and a larger maf... then back to the dyno for more tuning... I just added a muffler so hopefully it will better support the new mods.. Shooting for 360rwhp...

Maybe once I max out the power I can make on stock manifolds/cats/y-pipe Ill tear into it and put some LT's on it and an OR-Y to hopefully get 400 or close to it... Then an LS6 or Cheater cam and heads will be in order.

Yea i heard George is very good. I think there are some cars that have made 33x stock so i'm sure you will find cars like yours. I wish i had a factory freak! Those are great numbers
