In all honesty, it looks like the guy has full bolt ons plus a decent size cam right????Couldnt he pull a gen 1 Viper no problem and run kneck and kneck with a stock gen 2?

Just looked at hissig again..On slcks his set up should be good for an 12.2 at 113 mph right?
Dude you shuldnt have counted your self out. from a dig you have a low 12 car and can give a viper or C6Z06 a good run from a dig..

Anyways, like I said if it was a "race", it was poorly executed.
No honks, and I'm not sure we both understood we were gonna run.
I was kind of rollin next to him, askin to run, pointing at my horn, making some nonsensical gestures with my hands trying to incite a race of some sort, but remaining sensitive to him potentially not wanting to put up with my shenanigans.
I finally got him to kickdown and take off, I hesitated for a second and did the same.
For a second, or maybe a half second in my upper RPM's I thought I was hanging with him, then I hit 3rd and he pulled away sharply.
I don't know if he even got on it fully or not, it was really just for yuks, not a serious run. I rarely try and race dudes on the street (as you can tell by my lack luster performance here), but when I come across a car like that, or something equally ridiculous, man law dictates I at least try.
After looking at some pics, It wasn't a 1st gen for sure, but I can't tell if it was 2nd or 3rd, they look too similar for me to tell. I just saw Viper and said "sweet-lets do this"
As far as my car, I do have some money into it, and I should be kickin some OK power anyway. But I honestly don't have 1 time slip, nor a dyno sheet at this point so i have no way to gauge, except for the butt-dyno
Posting the story was also mostly for laughs, as I was kind of drunk when I did. (no not when I was driving, I was cruising then came home to drink)

Nice death but I think you underestimate your car. You have the mods to have a 11 second car that could smoke most vipers. If you like to lose, keep running them from a roll. A4s no likey roll race. Next time beg him to go from a dig, if he accepts he won't know what hit him. Sounds like a fun time regardless.

I haven't had any problem with the Vipers I have come across. I have raced the best (Fadi) and lost by a car. I think that is proof enough that I have eaten a few Snake Steaks in my day.
