I had no choice he's got it on vid! out of the 4 races I had only 1 was sort of close? the first race between Mach1nut and I! he had about 3 or so on me! the next race was a driver error from hell on my part! and then I crushed the DSG mach1 by a landslide and then whooped the GTO by 5-6 cars! yea stall and long tubes are going on in about a week or so!

He has BFG DR's. Not sure what size.

 

You trapped 82mph vs his 81.Maybe a closer outcome,if you had went the whole 1320?

 

I doubt it? he beat me pretty good! but I was down 2mph from my last track outing?

and I was on 275-40 BFG's!!!

So kids...what have we learned.....????....drivers race.

 

yeah since that was a fair race. lid, cutout, 17" drag radial stock stalled A4 t/a vs. cai, exhaust, 4.56 umum 4.56 geared 15" slick tired m5 mach. the best omega could hope for was a 1800-1900 rpm launch vs. mach1nut @ 5-6000. i used to think that you just had it out for this guy, but now i really wonder?????

 

Not that it makes a huge difference, but I have stock exhaust with only flowmasters welded in to the stock catback. And, the rims are 16" Weld XP's with 255/50/16 MT DR's. I clearly had the advantage but I think once Roy gets his Long Tubes and full exhaust and his converter installed, he'll be ahead of me. I'm guessing he'll be in the 8.1-8.2 range at about 85-86mph. I'll need to get an X-pipe and catback and I think I'll be right around there also.

We'll line up again and get it on video.

Roy is a real nice guy and we had a great time (well, I know I had a great time beating him). For me, anytime you go to the dragstrip is a good time regardless if I win or lose, I just enjoy getting out some adrenaline.

Sometimes people can be really misunderstood on the internet. Also, it's easy to act one way behind a keyboard and be a completely different person face to face.

no sir! we learned that my stock stalled A4 launching at 1800rpm at most was not enough for the 5K launch and the 4.56 gears of the Mach1!!! Mach1nut has a clean black car with black 18" wheels(except the DR's and welds he whooped me with outback) I didn't like getting whooped on but his car is super clean! now the other DSG A4 Mach1 was more of an even match-up(him having an X pipe and catback and CAI) and I stomped a mudhole in it! along with a LS1 6 speed GTO! I sure my stall and long tubes are enough to even up the race? but he and I both will have nitrous on the cars very soon! it looks like I have a nemesis! and a cool one at that!

 

Let me know when you are ready to go. I would like to go to Ennis next time and run a full 1/4 mile.

Blake/Roy - IT WAS A FREAKIN' JOKE...I was trying to toss in some humor with all the humbleness.

Roy made a call out....he asked for a basically stock mach to be fairly evenly matched. Mach1nut was the only one that could meet up, and he clearly has some 'advantage' mods.
