Default Ran Stage5Redline

Well I finally got to run Stage5Redline, I did 3 pulls with him, 40 mph, 65 mph, 80 mph, lets just say he got a good view of the hazards, but I'll give him credit, I've beaten Mustangs worse than I beat him.....

btw: I spun bad on my 40 roll, on stock tires for the time being....

^Much like the stupid use of stuff like "Hes got a T3/T4!" and "3/4 race cam", it gives posers the ability to talk cars with people and feel like they are part of the scene jo.

My car in translation would be like stage 3 billion:

-I changed the oil
-I have plug wires that dont arc
-I dont have any CELs and my car doesnt make 4 different kinds of smoke

That right there is stage 3. I have not even gotten into the modzz yet, which add like a billion to each one bizznatches.

Its a cam that 3/4s for racing and 1/4 for street.

Yes. I am serious now. People honest to god sold and bought cams with that designation. No duration. No lift. No LSA. Apperantly a few different sets of numbers are too much to handle for some people as they build a car up. So periodically you will hear some mullet draging dumbass in a rusted out 305 talk about how much TQ his monster 3/4 cam puts out and how the new cars are slow.

Its very similar to the idiots who will buy a turbo based on what the vendor tells tham about its max power potential. Without ever looking at a compressor map, riding in a car with a similar unit, finding what sort of airflow in lbs per minute it can do with their particular mod set, etc.

The 3/4 race cam (you're reading it wrong) has been around for like 40 years and is still being produced: http://www.cranecams.com/index.php?s...=262-400%20C.I.

I was under the impression that 3/4 cam meant 3/4" of lift ? Never having had one, or used one myself I am still wondering why or where I got that impression..

Click on the "262-400" in the application line until the camshaft list pops up. Then you'll see the entire Crane line of 3/4 race cams, and specs.

Good Kill! But seriously racing a redline/cobalt is like racing 4 chipmunks hooked up to my grandma's O2 tank.

Here is a diagram for those who don't want to try to think of that sight. I imagine the race went something like this.

Good kill, those Redlines/Cobalts are some nice little cars. My little brother has a Cobalts we are getting ready to put a twin screw on. As better parts become available these cars will turn into a threat for the unmoded or bolt on car.
