How about this.. I own an Ls1 and an Ls2 and I can tell you from experience, you put the same driver in a mach and a camaro back to back... stock for stock and they will damn near run the same times. THAT is what makes it a drivers race for sure. The advantage does go to the Ls1 after modding starts however, due to more cubes responding to mods a bit easier.

IMHO, if you've got two comparable drivers / mods the ls1 should pull as the speeds increase.

The "drivers race" thing has always given the advantage to the LS1 up top. I'd say that if a race is usually decided by 3 or less cars in the quarter mile, it's a driver's race.

Not much, intake exhaust, pulley and tune. Makes 371 on motor.

 

I believe Mach1's are capable cars. But the best time I've seen at the track was 13.6, and this was by an exhaust, gears and some other **** the guy said Mach1. Then again, FL weather does suck at the moment, so who knows.
