Fast AMG I was on the interstate the other day and there was an AMG car about 100ft in front of me. It was a 2 door sports car. I wanted to get closer so I could get a better look at it but when I started to speed up so did he....all the way to 150 MPH.lol I didnt down shift but he pulled away from me pretty hard until we got to about 130 MPH (5th gear power band). Anyways...my question is.....What AMG car could this have been? I let off at 150 MPH and he kept going so I never got a chance to look.

We have 2 AMG models at my school (M-B tech training school) that we're gonna put on the dyno next week. There's a CL55 (supercharged V-8) and a S65 (biturbo V-12). I'll let you guys know the results when we're done. Hopefully we can get the S65 with it's 738 lb/ft of torque to not smoke it's tires on the dyno.

i work at a mercedes dealer and those cars are fast as hell. we have a CL65 AMG in the showroom with the 604hp V12. One client ordered a SL65 AMG with the V12 and through our accessories department got a retuned ecu good for a lil' over 700hp and somewhere in the neighborhood of 900 lb-ft of torque.
