Another victim.. Well I slayed another vette last night. It was on my way home from Tulsa last night about 8pm. I seen him merging & his drivers window was down so I polietly moved over to let him on but also threw a rev in his window when I passed him. Sure enough he bites on it & catches up. It was a LS1 vette definetly. Looked like a white FRC. Really clean car.
So he catches up & I put her in third at 60mph. He looks over then cause my exhaust is pretty quiet at cruising speeds, but not when I down shift. So I know he knows I'm not stock now. Guy motions he wants to run, so I kindly ablige him. I let him have the hit cause I was betting his car was bone stock. Sure enough it was & after I get in it I put about 4 cars on him by the time I was half way thru 4th gear so I just let out.
He only wanted that one run. He came back up beside me & gave me the thumbs up. He was a older black man, probably late 40's with his wife in the car. He motioned for me to slow down so he could say something & he yelled "Thats a bad mother.." I thanked him & we went our separate ways.
I am absolutely in love with my car right now. I think what I love most about it is I can finally run with some of the nicer cars & how stealthy my set-up is. Some people like it loud, while I highly enjoy my quietness.
I can't wait to finally swap the intakes & get it all tuned. I know I'll be even more happy cause I'm still in awe of how well this combo is performing even as it is now.
