Infiniti G35? i was on my way to the drags and i come up on this thing that looks kind of like a 350z but the proportions were a little off. so i think thats weird but i just keep driving in the slow lane (there was alot of traffic) and he comes flying up next to me. so we manage to get past the other cars and the left lane was empty so we get one behind the other. him in front and me following. he punches the gas and so do i, thinking im going to kill him... NO! we were dead even. i couldn't even gain an inch on him till we caught up with more traffic and had to slow down. so we get past this traffic and again only the left lane is open so we line up again with him still in front. we do a punch slow down, do a punch slow down. after a couple times we were getting near my turn off and i did a little jump to show that i wanted to go one more time but he didnt go along with it. as soon as i get back into 4th gear he hits it and actually pulls on me. we came up to the light where i had to turn and we talked a little. neither of us had time to tell mods but he seemed pretty proud that his 6 shooter could hang with my v8. im looking on the infiniti site right now and it says they have 280hp and 260tq and either an m6 or an a5. im hoping he had a manual against my auto. i know i have one of the slow ones but that was a real surprise. anyway, he was cool and it was fun getting killed since i get NO action around here anyway

Re: Infiniti G35? He must have been running some mods. Car & Driver has it at 0-60 @ 5.5 sec, 1/4 @ 14.2 sec.
Anyhow,it's all 'bout havin' fun as you said. I'm sure there will be a few fools chiming in now to give you sh*t (we all know who they are). Don't listen to them, and get 'em next time.

1st run: 13.526 at 105 with 2.34 60'
2nd run: 14.27 at 103 with 2.7 60'
3rd run: 13.85 at 104 with 2.5 60'
4th run: 13.998 at 103.5 with 2.49 60'
5th run: 14.18 at 104.6 with 2.5 60'
I used to do ok with 60' on stock tires but the nittos are killing me. even though i get no spin i 60 much much worse even when i come up on the converter. I race at least once a week if the track is open and everyone gives me advice but somehow i managed to 60 and et better on stock tires. anyway the race was from a roll so i think the mph is more of a simulation of what would have been going on against the guy in the infiniti
edit: hmm. i tried putting my times in nice little columns so they were easier to read but the forum doesnt seem to like that idea
