Re: 03 Cobra kill Actually there is a reason. I'm getting my chip re-burned, the pulley, and full exhaust all at the same time. There's no point throwing on the pulley without exhaust. The '03 Cobras breathe through a damn straw. It's ridiculous how restrictive the exhaust is. Also, I wanted to put a few miles on it before beating the motor too bad. It's all coming soon. Next spring I'm hoping to get a Kenne Belle blower and crank up the boost to 20psi or so.
The chip, exaust and pulley should give u a real nice boost in power
How much do the kenne belles run price wise? Is it a complete replacement for the stock one, or do you just replace certain parts?

Don't bother listening for it, when you get it believe me you WILL know. My friends pulleyed full-exhaust 03 developed the tick after the pulley swap, and it is LOUD.

Unit, perhaps its a good idea to put a few miles on it before runnin at the track. But... you sold your Z28 for a FORD

'nuff said For one, my LS1 was leased. The lease ended and I had to turn it in. I wasn't going to get *** raped and pay the remainder of the car off. I tried extremely hard to get a Z06 or a lightly used WS6. Things just weren't going in my favor. I got an '03 Cobra by default.
BTW, sorry to hear your car runs the 1/4 mile in 13 hours and 28 minutes by the way. :p

The only time it's ok to be a dick is when the other driver starts running his mouth first. What happens when he goes home and puts a pulley/exhaust/tuning/ on his car and *** rams you next time? Now he's gonna treat you like an *** and you'll deserve it.
Unit213... those are some great numbers your Cobra is putting out. A good friend of mine is trying to close a deal on a '03 right now, they are certainly sweet cars IMO.

Re: 03 Cobra kill IM sorry to inform you all but there was no svt killing here. I know smoke ford personally and as a matter he just had a ford but totalled from lack of driving skill. The story that was posted was actually my story when I raced a cam/header/bolton LT1 car and that reply of four people was what I said. The truth is is that he raced my friends 98 STOCK formula and lost. I was there and saw it. There is no way this car could have beaten an 03 cobra even if he had missed every gear. Sorry to disappoint you all. Especially since his car had a "spun bearing" <-----SMOKE FORD. The only thing hes been smoking lately was one geo prizm and a 94 corola. Also the only bolt ons he has are sfcs and a slp lid and maf and NO tuning at all. Im not here to degrade other members but he has made too many posts lately criticizing people and lying about his car that doesnt even run. Also SMOKE_Ford if you can beat an 03 cobra then why dont your un my very slow LT1 car for 1500.00 so I can get a mcleod street twin. Anyday you are ready. He lives less than a mile away and there other people on this board that know all of the above is indeed true.
