97 gt other night me and some friends went to race in my friends 89 gta with a 5.7l so the kid that wants to run has a 97 gt 5speed, mac headers,h pipe, flowmasters, 1000cfm throttle body and cold air, pulleys. so we go from a light and my friends car(all stock) pulls him by 3/4 of a car and keeps him there till about 80 and then the stang started inching up and finally passed at about 85ish. so then the kid is all confident and all after we go back to the chill spot and im like ," feeling real confindent now"? hes like yeh , and im like how about a run with me and he says yeh. so we pull out and there is noone around i stay in first and let him come up equal then i lt him have the jump and he goes for it. i immeaditly pulled 3/4 of a car on him and he hangs for a sec but by 2nd gear in my car i had him by 1-1/2 of a car. then by 3rd hes like 5 cars back and i shut down at 110 and he way hella back. i really destroyed him on top end it was funny. long i know just thought id share
