Default Whooped an SRT10 Dodge

Raced an SRT10 Dodge truck on the freeway from abouy 60 MPH to 90 MPH over the weekend twice and easily won. My 99 TA has full boltons, but I thought those trucks had Viper engines. I guess the weight kills them.

Yea the single cabs can give a stock Fbody a run for theyre money and win..But a full bolt on LS1 is gonna beat a lot of cars....Whats that..350 rwhp or so?

I lost to a SRT-10 when I was stock. I think we were about dead even through 1st and 2nd but I couldn't shift into 3rd. I only had my car for 2 or 3 days so my shifting wasn't exactly on point like it is now. I think I only got one clean shift to third. But I lost and I'm not sore about it. I would bust his *** now though.

I had never heard of them running 13.1s and its definitely the exception. I checked the dragtimes and then forums and a 12k poster said run a 12.9 is said to take gears, full exhaust, tune, etc. Another 300 poster said a few have done it stock.

I would say 13.1s stock would be among the top .1%

I would imagine a race from a dig would be even harder on a truck(weight wise), but the truck was beautiful.

Alot of people get the quad cab times mixed with the single cab. The quad cab is much heavier than the single and it's an auto. They average low 14's/high 13's on average. The single cab's with good traction on a good night will average mid to low 13's trapping at 107+. I've seen it.

Nice kill. So was it a single cab or quad cab truck that you raced?

What happened after 90? You guys let off?

Good run.

Was driving an escalade the other day,..and I rolled up alongside a BLACK SRT-10 truck, with an obvious camshaft and an obvious blower on the truck. Someone told me there was a 700 wheel hp one running around here... i'm guessing that was it. Looked good,..was lowered and everything. It was also a manual....which, are they all? Probably since it's a viper drivetrain.

All the quad cabs are auto and single cab are m6s. I think Dodge said they weigh 5500lbs. Put one in a Dakota and see what it does lol.
