What happened to this site?
I agree with you in that some people don't read the stickies and some people post questions that they could find an answer to by searching or in a book, but what some of the people with your opinion don't realize is that 99% of the people on this site just like to talk cars. They don't care if they can find the information in a book or in a thread that's four years old; they want to TALK about cars with other car enthusiasts.
Sometimes you come across a post where someone is obviously just lazy, like "Where is my spare tire located", but when someone posts a thread like "Let's see some pics of XXX wheels on a Camaro" or "I'm thinking about getting a streetable cam, opinions?" and some douchebags come in and post "SEARCH SEARCH SEARCH SEARCH search SEARCH", they obviously don't understand the reason most people start threads like that, which is to have a conversation about a hobby they love.

And you put "ricers and stangs" in the same sentence
I can't speak for all the other stang guys, but why is there an age limit in your post.
I may only be 16, then I would be offended.
I have some VERY good friends on this site, in other sections, that I have known for a long time.
You mention meeting guys guys at a burger joint, what exactly is a guys guy?
Maybe I don't want to know, so you can go edit your first post now.
At times I talk ****, I sure do, and I keep stirring once under the skin....but it is all in good fun and most on here know that. I only attempt to keep some of the fantasy thinkers in check, other than that it is just entertainment at the "thin skin"s expense.

As for me, yes I drive a c5 mostly stock; predator tune, no cats, borla straight pipe, afe cai. 402ls2 550+hp coming in a few months. I dont run my mouth but i know my ****.

Well in the street racing forum you will find **** talking at its finest. Most of the time there isn't anything informative in here, it's just fun to read sometime. I don't mind non lsx car owners in here, I think its pretty cool actually, you get to see how other cars stack up against ours. I think its nice to see some of the mustang guys put the ignorant lsx guys in check with their information on fords, although sometimes they can go a little too far with their brand loyalty. The informative threads are the tech ones, you can litteraly learn everything about your car, what mods work the best and are dyno proven. The same goes with suspension, tuning, appearance....etc. There is a ton of knowledge on this site, I don't post much, but I do read alot on here and it is very helpful(to me anyways).

Yes well put. . This is one of the best sites out there. so most people come here no matter what they drive other sites don't have what we have. Ive checked ,they are cheap no good copies

It wouldn't be nearly as weird if you just read the stickies about what sections of this forum add to your post count and which ones don't...
IMO, that is the real problem with this site...dumbasses that don't read stickies, and especially ones that don't use the search function and continue to think that they have a truly novel question and take up bandwidth with new threads that don't need to exist.

Ive noticed a lot of Mustang and ricer guys on this website. WHY? I know some of them are fast but this is LS1 TECH not fast tech. I enjoy all types of cars but this should be for gm muscle only.
