so really all he has on you is gears and under drive pullies.

he may get you a little on the launch depending on how good a driver he is but you should easily reel him in and take him.

also is he a4 or m5?

If he has longtubes and a tune, he's in the 280rwhp ballpark... with the 3.73s it will make it very interesting if you go from a stop, but you will take him at higher speeds. But for the record, this section is for kills/deaths only, not "what if" questions

What gears do you have?

Top end rape probably. Below that he should hang for a little while.

Your going to murder that thing, don't waste your nitrous. I drove a 04 GT with full exhaust, upper intake manifold, intake, gears, MSD something or other, and a short throw and I couldn't believe what a pig that thing was! It sounded fast and felt alright, then I looked at how slowly the speedometer and it was just crawling! The short throw felt nice though...

You should be able to take him without the spray. He'll probably get you off the line from a dig because of his lower gearing. But, you should go flying right past him not too long after.

Lack of a better word. It's not going to be a rape by any means, but he shouldn't have too many troubles getting by the GT before the 1/4 mile comes to an end. If the GT had 4.10's or 4.30's, then the race would be really interesting and the LS1 may have some trouble.

true id say both cars should run in the low 13's with the ls1 having a better trap speed. but this isnt gonna happen on the track and its probably gonna happen from a roll and the mustangs probably gonna get pimp slaped

Agreed. Also, when did you get a Termi? I haven't really been around the Street Racing section to often in the past few months. Last I knew you had an orange 04 GT on spray didn't you?

To me 280 rwhp might be pushing it. The average 99-04 GT pushes 210-220 rwhp stock so I would say around 245-255 rwhp is more likely with LT's and a tune.

Did everyone miss that the OP has drag radials and the GT doesn't?
