I am a new registered user and in no way do I want to disrespect this site or try and undermind anyone's authority by saying this: I do agree the OP was wrong for saying what he said, especially on a public forum which does not tollerate raceism. However, I think the moderators have to be more mature about hndeling the situation. Pulling up the guy's personal information and giving it out like that will accomplish nothing, only make the situation wose than it already is. BAN the guy, make it clear he was wrong, but don't get on his level by talking trash back and fourth. Although I a a new member I have been a guest on this site for the past two years and this (as entertaining as it is) is one of the most immature threads I have read and can't believe it hasn't been locked yet. ...thats just my 2 cents

You have no idea how forgiving and patient the moderators are, but we hate racist **** here so when it comes around that person will get owned. Unit213 puts up with so much **** in this section, its not like hes always doing this. Well deserved IMO. Racist remarks are one of the deadly sins here.

I also agree. In my opinion, the moderator who posted DBEST369 personal info is just a guilty as DBEST369. Posting up some one private information and attacking him is far worse than the "raciest commits" he posted. I highly doubt the moderator is much older than the OP because it seams like he likes to mess with people also. Anyhow this thread has gone on long enough!

Well then props on the creativity. Yes I am aware everything was already on the site from previous posts, all I am saying is that I don't agree with someone who is here to keep this a clean site, only making worse of an already bad situation. There is probally plenty of people out there that are crazy and resoursefull enough to hunt the ignorant fool down and do who knows what. Yes, he brought it upon hissellf, but why not just end the situation with a simple BAN and let everyone know its not tollerated and move on. All you are doing is fueling the fire when it just needs to be put out. This whole thing is childish and this is all for me on this thread. Im moving on.

I just want to know, if this 18 year old would have been a black american instead of a white american, and had used this language, would there have been the same backlash? or is it more than just the words he used? was it because his expressed dislike for these two black americans in the 300 that was unacceptable and racist?

also, assuming that what he said about having black friends and conversing with them using this language is true and they (his black friends) don't hate him for it, why should the color of his (OP) skin matter? if black americans can say it to each other, this white american can apparently say it to his black american friends, and black american rappers can say it all over the public airwaves, doesn't there seem to be a disconnect? or perhaps a double-standard? i mean all the outrage when the word is used by a non-black american would appear to be unfounded; or perhaps political (PC).

i personally don't like the use of words like these, but don't believe that simply the use of the word is racist or hateful speach. if there is malice intent in the mind/attitude of the user, then yes, it is racism. again, i would not pull somethin like that on anyone because of the color of their skin and don't condone what the OP did. Also i can't stand the 'white cop + black culprits = ' comment he made. all racial profiling pisses me off!

btw, i do have non-white (asian, hispanic, african, black american) friends, and we do not use that language or the racial equivilants.

What you don't understand, is that this guy brought it all on by himself.
The ban was warranted. He then proceeded to spam the board, re-register
20+ different accounts, etc. That is why I blasted him. He made a poor
choice.
