First time I've gotten out in a while but a few good runs. Lot of races were talked up but only a few went down. Most of the cars were high 6 low 7 sec cars in the 1/8.

1st run: Out of town guy in a built 347 fox on drs vs. local built evo. They went from a dig and the mustang spun so the evo pulled buses on him. Later found out the guy forgot to lower his tire pressure from 30psi...whoops.

2nd run: same fox vs another gt fox with 175 shot. Both hooked this time and the gt got him by a car and a half.

3rd run: Me w/car in sig vs bolt on skittle running 14psi
race flopped as cops showed up

4th run: same gt with 175 shot( off spray) vs. 02 GT with bolt ons
02GT got beat as the girl driving missed 3rd

5th run: Me vs 347 fox coupe with 100 shot
Told him to give me a car and the go w/o nitrous one time and with nitrous the next time. He agreed. First run without we both hit it and I powershifted 3rd...yanked him hard(so I thought), powershifted 4th and couldn't hardly see him so I shut down about 110 from a 40 roll. Turns out my friend said he lifted as soon as we hit it b/c he lost traction or didn't think I was going to take off when I did which is bs b/c I had the go. He didn't want to run again which makes me think he just wanted to see how fast my car was since we didn't run for money. Also, he ran someone else after me.

6th run: same 347 fox w/spray vs. another built fox (mods unknown)

347 fox wins by a car both spun but it was a good race

I had fun and my car felt fast as hell but I didn't get a good run in even though I tried to race like 7 people.

 

So You Mention About To Check Out Your Sig For Your Mods And It Doesnt Have Anything. Whats Done To Your Car Man.

 

big weight reduction, 4.10 gear, full exhaust, cold air intake, pro5.0 shifter, ac/heater delete, smog delete....coming soon tune and drs...it's a working progress

 

No power mods?

 

with weight reduction and that gear you should come off the line hard (for power mod-less car) but those fox's, had they hooked shoulda whooped you pretty bad.
light car, 347, spray....bad day.

uh lol im assuming you mean a srt4... heh srt4 pushing 14 psi wouldnt come close to 7 or 6 sec in the 1/8 would be more like high 8's

 

No doubt. 6.90's in the 1/8th are good for 10.90's in the 1/4.

 

well like I said..."most" were high 6 low 7 sec cars...and yes my car pulls hard for the low amount of mods

I was out there to see all the races, except for the Evo vs Fox. They said the Fox was a 331 though

It was fun, haven't stayed out that long in a while.

Could have been...I just heard 347 from somebody else...either way he lost both races. Wasn't expecting anyone else from that night to be on here...did you see my race with the blue coupe flop. I still don't know what he was thinking. I slowed down for him, told him 3 times to go when I went and that was confusing for them??? Oh well, lucky for him wasn't a money race or I would have been collecting

 

love the 4.10s, they feel a lot faster if nothing else. Makes the shifts happen quicker which I like

 

Yeah, he hit it then let off immediately. Don't know why though. I've seen those cars up there before, but I have no clue what is done to any of them besides the Evo. I had my black Prelude out there that night since I didn't feel like going home and swapping out cars.

Stock motor with cams, 20g turbo, bolt-ons, tuned for 100octane.

 

It now makes sense why he backed out of the run with the blue coupe....it would have been a good race.....but 100 octane is only found in a few places in our area as he was supposedly out of gas. Anyway, thats when I jumped in and said I would run the coupe. I'd like to run that evo when I get my tune and drag radials even though I know I'll get beat.

I know my friend has one thats pretty nasty and those cars don't hook like fbodys w/o some help suspension wise

 

He was faster than that b/c he only lost by a car or two to another friend of mine with a blown 95 GT and he doesn't lose often. By the time I get to run the "srt4", the owner told me he'll have the boost turned up with some more mods so I might get waxed.
