lighting vs srt8

Raced a 04 lighting last night we went from a 40 roll up to 130 I let him hit first so he jumped out a fender then I walked on by him buy he let off when I got two cars up on him . His truck is stock with weld in mufflers and kn filter.Should he of done better ? How do these trucks compare to stock ls1 cars?

They run high 13s @ ~100mph stock... so you definitely should have won, especially from a roll.

Is that what they trap I thought they trap better. Are the 03-04 much faster then 99-02 trucks?

Not "much" faster, but they are faster in general. Kinda like 02-04 Z06s vs. '01s, or '01+ LS1s vs. '97-00s... and some Lightnings trap a bit higher than 100mph, but not much.
