Default Feisty Fox....
Came across a late 80's fox notch back (my favorite of all of them). Didnt think much of it. I was like, bah! another 5.slo... until I pulled up behind him and heard a oh so familiar whistling/whinning noise. Taking a educated guess, it sounded like a ATI with about 7psi. So he see's me behind him were both turning left, he rolls out real slow holds it at about 20mph (bad move). I get beside him and give him the jump. I dead hook and he spins a little, pulled him pretty bad threw 1st and 2nd, let off at the top of 2nd were I had about 2-3 cars on him. I pulled off to try to get some info but he blew on bye.

it was a paxton with a boost leak and it only runs 3psi

Good kill... you never know what you're getting when you run into a fox. Which is why I'm getting one in a couple years and doing a H/C/I/ 351W w/ some juice

Because I had friends that use to run a paxton and a ATI on there 5.0. The ATI's are alot louder than the paxtons at idle, both were 6-7 psi.

You realize there are a lot more S/C manufacturers than just ATI and Paxton right?

Yeah, but in his defense ATI and Vortech on probably the most common for Foxbodies. And Powerdyne. I had a buddy with a CLEAN H/C/I '91 GT convertible that had a Powerdyne running 9psi, and that ***** was BAD.

Your right, it might of been a Vortec...those are noisey also. Powerdyne's are quiet like the paxtons.

That's very true.
I haven't met or talked to anybody with a Powerdyne setup on their car so I really can't speak for them.

Oh wait! Now that I think of it, I seen a 3 core intercooler in the front bumper cover...so that means it must of been a ATI D-1 running 17-25 psi. Damn im good...

did the head unit grenade and take everything with it at about 2 or 3k miles?

That's exactly what I was thinking. He should be putting down even more power than I will be here shortly. port and 2.8 pulley, SCT catback, CAI, dyno tune, and an SRA.
