Unles you are on a Busa (by far the most aerodynamic bike) you are looking at 230+ hp and gearing magic to hit it at the very least least typically. My favorite line about that is, "I've got a gixxer 1000, its a 200 mph bike". LMAO There are many other reasons too, considering they (most sportbikes) are designed to turn fast. Regardless, any car that can run close to a superbike is a badass car imo.

As for the rider, he wasn't that experienced. There was so much wrong with his riding and I dont want to rant. His gear (or lack of) screams either squid or rider that hasn't fallen yet. His positioning did absolutely nothing to help. First impressions, deffinately a rider that hasn't been riding long (1 to 2 years would be my guess) and has a slammed & stretched sportbike he probably only cruises around town on. Or possibly he started on a larger cc bike, which keeps them from actually learning to ride, only learning to control the bike. In his defense though, it is hard to drag race any unmodded 600,750, or 1000cc "race ready" sportbike without wheelieing, especially on the start. Nothing wrong with that (riding experience), just stating truth.

I don't understand the ones that take a superbike, ruin it (stretch and slam), then just cruise from light to light. He should buy a cruiser and be comfortable. Thats what I love about bikers, a short ride and actions speak much louder than words. He should get some gear before he loses a few pounds. Oh look, I did rant. sorry

Great runs and nice car btw
Well said, I would never race anyone that didn't at least have a jacket and long pants on... He wasn't tucking, his shifts were butter soft, and he rides a stretched/slammed/strapped bike. His bike has been doing all the work for him since he has had it. I'm 5' 9", 155lbs fully geared up, and I can keep the front wheel down better on a stock 1000 than he did on that 750. Regardless, the OP has a badass car. That bike should run low 10's with those mods and a pro rider. 10.05-10.25 would be my guess.

A 200 hit should push him into the very very low 10's or high 9's IMO.
I didn't catch all of his suspension mods, but I know of a pig weighted 01SS with a 402, th400 w/3800 stall, 9" w/4.11's, and Qa1 coilovers that dynoed 488rwhp through the unlocked converter. He is running mid 10's with 1.4 60's. I think he has plenty of room for 10's if the suspension is right. 9's for sure on the spray. If it is still on semi-stock suspension nevermind...
