That ***** funny. A freind of mine did this in his 500whp+ EVO once, sad thing is it was far from being his first time in the car or at the track, he just forgot it was still in reverse from backing up a couple feet.
The first time I went to the track I staged with my back wheels 
and launched at like 5k and spun down half the track.

One time I was at the track and pulled around the water box and backed up to it. Well as soon as I did that I looked up and the red lights were flashing so I looked down the track to see what was going on. There were three sets of tail lights down there. One of the cars I think had stalled on the way around and noone caught it until the next pair were off. Well he got off really quickly so the red lights went off and they motioned to do your burnouts. Well I rev it up and pop the clutch and guess what?? Yep still in reverse.
