My cam opens up at 4k.
I can feel the power difference there.
I've driven both an AP1 and AP2 s2k and haven't felt any difference minus sound.

It's not a drastic (OMG VTAK!!!) kind of pull... it's more of the fact that the torque curve (however small it may be) remains flat up till redline, and the power builds faster above 6,000rpm. It's not a big hit, but you can feel it get stronger. Just the nature of the motor.
