LS1 vs GN
LS1 vs GN My buddy and I have been working on his 87 GN since last month when he blew his head gaskit at the track.
He was having alot of trouble building boost above 15 psi. Turns out it was the clamp on his intercooler was bad.
And his downpipe is off center. We canned a clamp off of my Turbo minivan to fix. he still has some lag issues due to the downpipe. He is taking it so sublime this weekend to have them reweld it.
00 Camaro long tubes, open y pipe, spec 3 clutch.
87 GN bigger turbo 3in downpipe,test pipe hooker cat back. 25 psi of boost with meth. running rich and to much meth.
race 1 was from a role from about 45. he got the jump. I was at his door the hole time nether of us could walk
race 2 was the same but i got the jump he stayed at my rear quarter panel
rave 3 was the same as 1.
So on the high way the cars are even it all depends on the jump.
From a dig he has et streets. I am on street tiers.
race 4 he launches at 15psi and hooks i launch at 1500 rpm and spin he gets me by 4 cars
race 5 same as 4
race 6 i get a 2 car head start and he sill gets me by 2 cars.
I need to get some MT's and learn how to launch.
Next week i will have a 100 shot waiting for him lol.
