Default A kill and getting killed!

First race im heading home from work at about 11 pm when i see a a red ls1 Z28 comeng up behind me fast. He jumps up next to me and were doin about 30 he gives me the look honks it off and were off. By about 80 i have 2 lengths on him. This confuses me because the cars have the same engine so i figured it would be atleast alot closer if not him in front seeing as he had some kind of exhaust.

Second race, still on the way home i hit a light with a big lifted Duramax Diesel (not exactly sure what exact model because it was debadged) we start talking and he asks me if i want to run, we agree to a 30 roll. I honk it off and were off i get the jump and hold about a half car on him to 90. We slow back down and we end up hitting another light he says hes gonna put it in 4wd and wants to run from a dig. I here him powerbrakeing, when the light turns green i get the jump and have a great launch. But it wasnt even close to enough he instantly puts 7-8 cars on me at 80 hes holding the distance and i call it done and slow down. We pull into a parking lot and talk turns out he runs low 12's!!!!!! And in colorado at this elevation i run 14's : ( all in all a cool race and a cool guy. I hope to see him again after my turbo set up is in!

Some of those diesel guys launch in 4wd and put it back in 2wd after they get out of the hole. I guess it works for them.

well that diesel will not really be affected by the altitude because it makes its own atmosphere because of the turbo. I bet your car will really shine when you install that kit even on low boost. Good races.

Nice races. That sounds like a badass truck. I don't think I could live anywhere where the elevation was that high. I'd get depressed every time I went to the track and end up turning on the car in the garage with the door closed or something.

x2...driver can make or break any race. It SHOULD have been a close race but obviously you had the driver mod for the win.

hmmm. didn't think of that. that short time is fine. and im sure it gets them good traction coming out of the hole especially if they were in 4lo LOL

but it would have to be lever operated to do that. my buddies z71 is push button and you have to wait on it.
