So saturday night i went up against a red SS Camaro (for my local ppl, this is the SS that's apart of the group Drag Tyme Drag Racing). Idk what his mods are.....doesnt seem to be heavily modded as the T/A from that group. Anyway's to the story....

This was a roll race from 30 or 35 to i would say 70 to 80. We turned off onto another road, as we did that. This guy's friends in there Celica get in my lane ahead of me and drive ahead some. which i thought was a lil odd, the coulve let me get ahead of them and let us run.....So we get up with eachother after that and he honks it off. We hit it and he jumps out ahead of me (guessing he's m6), im in my power range. So i stay around but he's at about a half a car ahead of me. We stay that way untill i finally start closing in on that stupid Celica in my lane, and have to let off. Idk if i wouldve been able to pull him back in or if he wouldve pulled on me more but all in all. It was fun and nice to get a run against an SS Camaro.

Funny part, this guy was wearing a taco hat (u know how the mexican guy's hat's are shaped differently then a regular cowboy hat). Im mexican so dont take it as me being racists or anything. but ive never seen a guy racing while dressed up like that lol Just thought it was kinda funny....

Well it seems that i found this guy's myspace page as i was looking around threw some ppl's pages that i know from around here.

Saw his pics of the car, idk how old the pics areis but it looks to be in stock form. Engine bay is stock, but i did see a berger panel has been added to it. So who knows, maybe he has something now....

 

good to know that there is still action going on in odessa havent been there in a while last time i went there was alot of drama between r racing team and drag time.
oh yeah by the way i have raced once when i was in my boots and my marlboro style cowboy hat

Idk much about Redline, ive just seen a truck out there in Pecos with a Redline Racing sticker on the back windshield. Other then that, i think its mostly guy's from FastTrack & T.O.Y.S that are out and about around Odessa. 1 guy from Underground is all ive seen so far and the Drag Time guy's here and there. Then there's mustang's left and right, and couple imports & etc.

 

the rides in pecos suck, i dont know who started it over there but need to think twice about it because their slow. We dont have any redline members in odessa, we r mostly in midland we have trans ams, camaros, mustangs, a lightning, a couple of r1 bikes, rx-7, and the fastest car we have is a toyota supra (its a beast) but other than that, thats basically it.

 

yea that one truck out in pecos, was trying to play around with me one time. i noticed he would come up on my *** and if i took off fast, he would too....didnt bother with it, i dont even think it has any mods at all.

 

yeah their all stock, have u ran your car at desert thunder raceway, if so what times have u gotten out your car?
