Default how to set pinon angle

I installed a 12bolt and a spohn torkarm and the pinon angle is off i have the gauge i just need the specs and were to measure off of.

Measure the pinion yoke and the driveshaft. You're checking to see if the centerline of each is parallel (this would be 0 degrees) or off by some amount. You want between 0 and -3 degrees difference depending on your application (street, drag, etc.). -2 or -3 is good for traction at the drag strip. BTW, negative pinion angle is where the pinion is pointing down relative to the driveshaft.

1fastWS6, do you measure the two with the driveshaft disconnected from the yolk?

So if the car is level and the trans is at diffrent angle say neg 2 and the rearend pinion is neg 1 you would have 3degrees neg or not.
