Default Very Noob Question -

Is the brake fluid stored in the same place as the clutch fluid ( as they both use the same type of fluid )?

No, brake fluid is stored in the brake master cylinder. Clutch fluid is stored in the clutch master cylinder. These are two seperate systems, but they both use brake fluid.

They are also mounted in similar places on the firewall. Here is a pic. my car was originally an M6 but converted to auto. Also, I have a Strange brake master so it looks different because its manual, not power brakes. You can kind of see the hole below where the clutch master used to be.
