Installation of subframe connectors without loading the susp I am having some subframe connectors (weld-in Kenny Brown DD) installed at a reputable performance shop in the area and have a question.
I asked if he was going to lift the car with the suspension loaded and then intall them but he sid he is going to jsut lift the car up with the frame and install it like that. Will this work as well? I don't see why not becuase all an SFC is doing is adding more chassis bracing. He said the problem would be when they do one side at a time, then that causes all sorts of things.
He knows his stuff, but just wanted to know if anyone else has had theirs installed like this.

Re: Installation of subframe connectors without loading the susp It is not generally recommended to do it that way. It may be fine, or it may preload an already flexible chassis. I'm not saying it won't work, but I'd not do my own that way.
