Brake Booster Question Does this brake booster look ok? I'm concerned with the orange area

To add some more info...
The part in question is the orange foam piece that is seen in the picture. Its a little deteriorated.
Does this foam piece do anything? Would it cause any problems?

TTT, I am selling this item and the buyer wants to know what the foam piece is for since its a little worn out.
I assumed its just to keep dust out etc
