This is what I understand too.

Some SS/WS6 cars came with Bilsteins and 32/21 as opposed to 30/19 sway bar sets IIRC the springs were the same.

All SS/WS6 cars came equiped with 32mm hollow front bars. Also as I said earlier SS/WS6 cars came with the 1LE shocks and springs. After that they came with stock Z28 shocks and springs but kept the 32mm front bar. The bump stops are also different on the rear for all SS/WS6 cars.

Yup. They don't tend to sag either. The spring rates are made to handle well, but since they are progressive you won't get too stiff of a ride most of the time. They deffinitely are a well made set of springs. I think Strano sells them as well.

Not true... at least not in the all inclusive way maxgee is stating.

In fact SS's got 1LE spring up until around mid-2000, when they changed to normal production springs. The exception are the "option" cars like Level 1, 2, and Ultra Suspension optioned cars. They had various sets of springs that were not GM springs.

And Level 1's which are the majority of the cars that had any sort of optional suspension were only really about 1/4" lower in front, and about 3/4" lower in the rear, even though at various the times the claims were 3/4" and later 1" all around.

I do sell Hotchkis springs as well as other brands beyond the Strano Springs. I try not to be a one-trick pony. Where lots of companies only sell what they make, I believe that options are important for two reasons.

Reason 1: The customer can feel at ease knowing a recommendation is being made based on their needs, not what I have to sell them. Nobody will recommend parts the can't sell you.

Reason 2: Cases vary. As much as I think my springs are great for the uses I designed them for. We do run into situations that might call for a different route. For example, sometimes different springs work better with shocks that my springs are just a little too much for. Maybe someone has a set of swaybars that they insist on keeping. Both bars and springs add wheelrate and should be kept in sync for the best balance, etc, etc....
