Default C5 ABS pump/module substitution

I'm getting a new toy.

It's going to be small but lively, based on an LS1/T56 out of a 2000SS and modified C5 suspension/brakes (from a 99) with a diff from an 05GTO, a spaceframe and some other custom pieces.

The guy who's handling the chassis build reckons he can get the stock ABS/Traction control working if I get the module/pump. It's a little car - it'll be around 2200lbs wet, so that doesn't sound awful.

The problem is that these things aren't inexpensive. Even on eBay they are running 5 bills and up. I was wondering if there's something else that's a direct swap? I saw (as an example) a setup from an 05 GTO that was way more reasonably priced, but doubt that the sensors are compatible.

Anyone done this?
Any suggestions for an alternative vehicle to source from?
