Default Difference Between QA1 "F" and "R" Struts

What's the difference between the QA1's F and R struts. Which one would be best for the street? I came across a deal on 12way QA1 f struts. Would the QA1 F struts be okay on the street on a low setting?

The R series have fixed compression, adjustable rebound. With the F the compression adjusts with the rebound. For the street, the f would be better I believe. R is good for drag racing as you can loosen the rebound but compression stays firm so car doesn't bounce up and down while shifting.

I believe the Rs are what most would call a 90-10 shock.
