Advice needed Im getting closer to installing a strano/koni setup real soon. I recently took my front shocks off my car. I took a look at my stock strut mounts and decided to get some new ones, the nut that holds the shock to the mount was unrecognizeable, so I didnt take my stock struts apart. I got my new mounts today, but is their anything else i need to get my new struts connected to my new mounts? Do I need any of the stock parts on my stock struts? |
Yes... you need to lower spring isolator (it sits on the spring perch, under the stock spring). And most new shock mounts don't come with the pie-piece shaped insert that goes on top. If yours did, great. If not you need to visit a dealer for those too. |
Thanks Sam. |
Is this the top part you were talking about Sam? |
