FWIW, I guess you all missed it when I said "BETWEEN Harbor Freight and Craftsman"??????

Details matter guys, and this is EXACTLY why I won't do setup/recommendation work by e-mail.

I use to drive a body lifted Z71 so even the stock shocks on my camaro feel better lol.
I'm fully aware, and I still sold them--which is not something I'd do if we were looking at an unmitigated disaster.... Does anything I said here contradict the discussion we had on the phone?

We actually didnt discuss much, I pretty much called.. asked if you had them... and ordered. I know from the thousands of posts what I was getting into, a better shock than stock that is adjustable but not as good as koni... nothing is. Im happy with my KYB AGX's although I havent gotten to push them much since I didnt get the strut bolt tight enough on the passenger side, will be fixing that tomorrow. Ive read countless posts on this topic, I think ive seen you post in all of them but being tight on money and needing new shocks, I had to go with them... If I could have gone with koni I without a doubt would have, I was upset with the comment on the first page from a guy bashing because some of us cant afford koni's. I even read the post from you saying stock rated at 1, KYB AGX's at 5, koni's at 10... myself being on a lowered car, I was between bilstein's and KYB AGX's... being lowered I only had one choice really which was KYB AGX's, other than konis which I cannot afford atm.

They should be pointed inwards towards the body. To make it easier for adjustment I usually turn the wheels outwards to make adjustment easier when I crawl under from the front.

I have mine set to 5 front on stock V6 springs. Rears are non-adjustable stock height Bilsteins (pre-garbage-valving) on V6 springs.
