Default Lowering spring install question

I have done many lowering springs with stock shocks on other cars. or stock springs on different shocks. But Never changed both at the same time.
How do you position the rubber peice that goes between the spring and the spring perch? The springs I am installing are stranos and koni shocks.

THe one in this picture http://www.gmhightechperformance.com.../photo_12.html

And for the rear springs, I would assume just put them into stock position

well when you get the spring positioned on the top mount, the lower perch mount can only go one way. get what Im saying? when you decompress the spring just make sure nothing moves. everything kinda fits like a puzzle.

Good question. The top rubber isolator doesn't rotate, right? If that's the case then transamDriver is has the right idea. Make sure to seat the bottom of the spring perfectly to the rubber isolator. It can be a pain to get it all lined up properly.

The lower spring seat can only go one way, just like stated before.
