Default Hubs

I have a 1996 Camaro with the LS1 front brake swap. I had aknocking nosie when stopping, so I had the car up on the lift today I found that the right front hub had a ungodly amount of play. So great the hub is bad, not to hard to change, but a guy that I trust said that the hubs from my 96 LT1 hubs will not work in the LS1 spindles? Is that true? I did a google search and found some posts that say other wise. Cause I rather not spend the money if I do not have to, because the old LT1 brakes are still in my shed.

They're the same. Bolt it up and see. If it DOESN'T bolt up, come back and tell us .

The front hubs are notorious for wearing out way too early. They're simply under-engineered for the weight of our cars and the loads that many people put on them .
