Default braking assistant need help asap

I was wondering if this is normal because i don't think it is. First time owning a camaro. Whenever I brake down hill or something. My camaro inted to be shaky on the braking. Like it feels all bumpy and not smooth like my IS300 that i previously own. This only happens when i am goign downhill or slowing down. it feels like it is going over bumps or something idk can someone help me? thanx

It sounds like you may have warped brake rotors on the front of the car. This is a common problem with these vehicles and can be easily fixed by replacing the rotors with a new set. I use Brembo OEM rotors from www.tirerack.com.

Based on your symptoms and the fact that the front rotors are relatively cheap and easy to replace, I'd just start there and see if it solves your problem. If not then some further investigation would be required.

A tire that is out of round or that has a bad belt. A bent rim. However, those would show up all the time, not just under braking. That is why front rotors are my first guess. That and the fact that front rotors are a common problem on these cars.
