Unhappy Why wont they work??

Hey, I just took off my calipers and painted them. I have bled the brakes 4 times, all fluid is flowing out clean. No brakes. The pedal is going straight to the floor and nothing. The chilton manual calls for bleeding 2 bleeders on the abs module, but I dont see any bleeders there. What am I missing?

Did you run the reserve dry when you were bleeding your brakes?

I didnt run it dry when bleeding them, but It did run dry when the calipers were off the car. The rear two bleeders are on the top, but the front calipers are on the bottom. I Guess its possible I put the front calipers on the wrong sides, but Im pretty sure I didnt.

You put them on the wrong sides... bleeder screws go on the top facing upward.

When you say you ran dry, does that mean you ran your entire system dry, or just from the caliper? I've had some problems with my brakes where I've bled and still had soft pedal. I did use brake fluid that was opened like a week prior to, which I think could have gotten moisture contaminated. I've heard you could still have stubborn air bubbles that won't come out while your fluid looks clear. Could be many things.

If you ran the whole system dry, it might be less of a headache to let a mechanic take care of it.
