Default question about alignment after lowering

I went to get my car alligned today. everything was alright except he said he couldnt get the caster right because my swaybar end links were to long. does that make any sense? the car seems to drive straight now though? I have bmr springs arnt they only a 1 inch drop? It looks to be a one inch drop already and the guy was saying it would lower more if I had shorter endlinks. I think he full of bs, but what do you guys think?

No, that doesn't make any sense. The links have nothing to do with the amount of caster you can get...

Lets see caster is the angle the wheel tilts as its turning correct?? So that would be tie-rod ends??

Those can be a PITA so it sounds like he was just lazy..

Im going to take over this for a minute since it reminds me of a question I needed to ask you Sam ..

Are these legal for ESP? http://www.byunspeed.com/product_inf...oducts_id=4305

Caster is the amount of "lead' the lower ball joint has over the upper ball joint. It's adjusted by pivoting the lower control arm on the axis defined by the "vertical" adjustment bolt at the rear of the lower control arm. The tie rods are not involved, although changing caster frequently alters the toe setting.
