Default front spring removal issue?

When trying to do my spring swap, i could not get the nut off on the drivers side upper control arm, i believe it is a catle nut. We tried everything to break it loose, including huge breaker bar, air tools, different chemicals. I would like to get my front springs on asap, any advice would be awesome?

Does anybody have the install on springs, i know there was one floating around?

It is a castle nut, look at the top of it......looks like a castle! Anyway make sure that the cotter pin that you DID remove does not have a broken piece in there. I dont know why you are having problems that one usually comes off easy. ls1howto.com is the place to go if you are having trouble. Hell I been a tech for 8 years and still find myself peeking over there every now and then! good luck http://www.ls1howto.com/index.php?article=6
