so im looking for a torque arm that doesnt bolt up to my trans and it seems my 2 cheapest choices r spohn or umi, so my question is, which 1 weighs less? i dont really care about how strong 1 is compared to the other i wont be launching this at the track i only make around 400ftlbs off the spray and im sure either 1 of them r more than capable of handling way more power than i can dish out so it seems to me its just a factor of weight

I am not to sure about weight but I could of sworn they were pretty close to each other. I went with the UMI TQ Arm with DSL and I love it!!!! Maybe that is why my whole car is UMI

Hello
I noticed that you are asking about our Tunnel Mounted Torque Arm Part # 2203 (Adjustable)- www.umiperformance.com/2203
I am not sure on the other brands but our tunnel mounted set-up with all the hardware weighs in at 34lbs.... the other brands I am sure are very close to the same.. with in a pound or so.
We offer a very nice set-up and I am sure you would be happy![Grin](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_grin.gif)
If I can help anymore please ask. Thanks!
Brad

I have the Spohn Adjustable T/A-Underbody Brace w/Driveshft Loop on my 99 Formula. I don't really know what it weighs, but installation was pretty simple. Only negative I've found is I now have a "Clunk" that wasn't there before, but this may be my factory Y-pipe hitting the DSL. (They are very close to each other.) That will hopefully change with the installation of my LT Headers.
