Default Braking Results

I finally got around to posting results from my brake testing and here are the results.
The ls1 brakes are a great upgrade ;however, I found the c5 upgrade to be more for looks than actually performing better.
lt1 stock brakes stop from 60-136ft avg of 3
ls1 brakes stop from 60-119ft avg of 3
c5 brakes stop from 60-118ft avg of 3
all set ups used hawk hp plus brake pads, ss braided brake lines, dot 4 fluid,17x9.5 c5 replica wheels with good rubber, and on 80-85deg days on clean pavement.
I'm sure that the C5 brakes will do better on a track (less fade) than the LS1 f-body brakes.

I think the C5 upgrade is more a matter of fade resistance than just plain stopping force. As you found out, LS1 brakes stop pretty damn well. Its after a few hard stops that the advantage of the C5 upgrade becomes apparent.
