Default is the supposed to be?

just wondering, sometimes when I am turning right and or i hit a dip or bump with my right wheel sometimes I will get a metal to metal pang or something, it sounds like my right rear spring is hitting the body , is there supposed to be a rubber cover on the top of the spring? if so where can I get some ,, I have the stockers in there but they dont have it. TIA

I'm not sure what the correct name of the rubber part is but yes you should have one, your local G.M. dealer should be able to get you the part. If the part cost more then you want to pay you could always go to a salvage yard, should be quite cheap there.
