Line Lock Switch idea

Line Lock Switch idea So I friend of mine has this 5-speed import, the reverse is located far left, upper - right next to where first gear sits.
As a protection feature to prevent the driver accidently going into reverse there is a mechanism under the shift **** that needs to be pulled up while shifting into reverse, then let go.
I was thinking this would be a great way to handle the line lock on our f-bodies!
I dont see any vendors offering a product like this to us.
Any ideas on how to make something like this up??
