Bilstein Strut Help!!!!!!!

Quick question guys. Why do my new front struts not have the lower perch on them for the spring? Did they send me the wrong ones? I purchased the front/rear slp bilsteins. Any ideas guys!

If I remember correctly, the Bilsteins don't ship with Lower spring perches or their indexers. You'll have to either reuse the old ones or purchase new ones.

you have to reuse the stock one.

So the stock one just slips down over the strut?

yep i think there may be a cap where the rod going into the housing on the stock one thay may need to be tapped off b4 the pearch will slide off.

Only the Konis have the lower perch available AFAIK.

FYI, these cars do not have struts, they have shocks.

Either way, shocks, struts, you know what I meant. Was just wondering because when I put my kyb adjustables on the car they had the spring perch built onto it and when I opened the bilsteins I freaked out. I guess its a good thing I kept all the factory stuff. Thanks guys.
