Cool eibach pro-kit

Me and my dad just installed the pro-kit and the car looks totally different, i love it i cant explain how much better the car looks now. If anyone of you guys are thinking about doing this, dont hesitate you will love it and if you are gonna install it yourself be prepared the back springs take about 10 minutes but the fronts will take you about 2 hours if you havent done this before. Anyways i love it and recommend it to everyone.

[FONT=Arial]I've thought about doing this. Did you just repace the springs or is there anything else that needs to be done?

You need to buy the rear control arm relocation brackets. You've changed the angle of the arms, the brackets will correct this problem.

Thats only true if you drag race otherwise its fine the way it is. I believe that those that autocross don't want them either?

It's not like you even *have* to get the brackets either. It won't hurt anything. I would get them though just because without them, you are sacrificing traction.

Is there any easy way to install the front springs besides forking out the cash to MTI or someone? They want 200 to do the front or 300 for all 4, I know i can do the back but not sure about the front, how hard is it? And also do have to get the front re aligned after the spring installation?

well the back springs took us 10 minutes and then my dad did the fronts at his shop while i was at school but if you have the right tools spring compressor and such and a lift really helps it took him about two hours for the first one because he was figuring out what to do and then the passenger side took about an hour but on the drivers side you have to loosed the master cylinder for the brakes from then on its just like other spring installs if you go here,

Damn dude its not that hard! Like he said, back takes a few minutes the front an hour or two. Is there anywhere near you that rents out tools? If so go and borrow a set of spring compressors. You will only need a basic set of tools besides the spring compressors. Easy as hell! I didnt have the spring compressors so I brought the struts to O'Rielly AP and and changed the springs out in the back w/ my elec impact. I did that so I didnt need to pay any rental fees which didnt matter because they give the money back anyway.

I had also asked does the front need to be re aligned? I would think so b/c all the loosening of the front suspension. just curious, thanks for all the help

You're only going to need an alignment to adjust the chamber angle of the front wheels so the tires don't wear too much on the inside.
