Differences between coil springs??
I'm getting ready to buy springs and was probably going to go with the Eibach pro kit. I noticed there are several other brands of springs too (G2, Goldline, etc). I was curious if there is a brand that works better than the others. The goldlines are a lot cheaper with makes me wonder how good they are. Any help or feedback would be appreciated.

What are your goals in lowering your car? Do you autocross or race? Is this just for appearance? Do you have headers and is ground clearance an issue? Do you care about the ride quality more than performance?
Hotchkis are one of the best in terms of street manners and only moderately lower your car. G2 springs are really good springs for those who need performance but they really lower your car (and are hard to get as they are out of stock?).

I'm lowering it for better handling and looks. I autocross and roadrace my car occaisionally. No headers, ground clearance is fine. I figure the 1 - 1 1/2 drop would be fine. Ride quality is important, I don't want to go much stiffer than the factory SS set up. Something simliar is fine.

Here's a link that's been posted on several occasions, but has a good listing of spring rates and advertised drops for several brands of springs.
