Default interior door bar question
are the interior dooor bars there for support for the door, or just protection for the driver and passenger? im looking to drop some more weight and didnt know if this would give me any problems with this car being drivin on the street everyonce in awhile

The horizontal bars are for side impact protection.

Unless it's a track only car I'd keep them. They helped save my life when I wrecked my '96 F-body.
