Whats the difference???

The reason I ask is because I called Sam Strano and asked if these were the double adjustable versions, and he said no.. and I thought only the DA's were adjustable on the car??

4/4 mean: 4th gen front strut/ 4th gen rear shock
the koni SA and DA are both fully ajustable on the car
the SA ajustement are for the ride height
the DA ajustement are for the rebound and the compresion ratio
and finally, if i'm not wrong, the 3rd gen shock have a beefy rod vs the 4th gen shock and it's a must if you have a big aftermaket rear end : 12 bolts, 9 inchs...
hope this help you!

The difference between SA & DA (single/double adjustable) has nothing to do with ride height, and everything to do with the internal adjustments they allow.
SA's can only be adjusted for rebound dampening.
DA's can be adjusted for both rebound and compression dampening.
Also, a shock is a shock. The 4th-gen front shocks are not "struts"
.Hope that helps
. They are both single adjustable and adjust rebound. Compression is static. The double adjustables have an adjustment for rebound and compression. The SAs have a great compression setting so the DAs are worthless for 99% of people.
The 4th gen rears are adjustable on the car and have infinite adjustment by turning the ****. The 3rd gen rears you will have to unbolt from the car and turn the bottom to select one of the 4 adjustment positions. Do a search, there is plenty more information on these if you will take the time to search and read around on here. Hope that helps.
