Default Torque Arm Install Problems

So I went to put my torque arm back in last night, but the rubber hole in the mount just seems too damn small - which I know it's not because it's the same mount from before. I took down the mount so I would be able to work with it easier in the garage, slide the T/A end into the mount, then reinstall them (already attached) onto the car. Is that okay?

Also, do I use grease or oil or anything on the end of the T/A that goes into the mount?

Thanks.

How can the hole be too small? Did you crimp it BEFORE installing the torque arm?

Maybe I just wasn't being patient enough, but I couldn't get it in to save my life. I just took the torque arm mount down, mounted the torque arm to it, then bolted them both back up.

It worked fine.

As long as everything worked out ok. Glad to hear you found an alternative method.
